METAV moments

The Geovision boothMETAV 2010 was held in Düsseldorf, Germany from 23 to 27 February 2010. Attended by more than 600 top-ranking exhibitors from 26 different countries, METAV clearly indicated that the economy is on the path of recovery.

Geometric participated along with our partners Geovision GmbH and SolidLine AG. This year, Geometric was a part of a new trade show concept - CNC-Arena, a German user forum for CNC related topics, hosted a big booth called 'PLM Competence Center', where all the well known CAD/CAM/PLM companies were represented. CAMWorks was showcased at both Geovision GmbH and SolidLine AG stands on this PLM competence center, while Geovision, also had their own booth at the event..

CAMWorks in action at DieMould India 2010

DieMould India 2010 was held from 18 to 21 March, 2010 at Bombay Exhibition Grounds, Goregaon, Mumbai, India. The event witnessed participation of machining manufacturers displaying their CNC machines and demonstrating the operations carried out by the machines.

Geometric participated as an exhibitor and demonstrated the capabilities of CAMWorks and DFMPro. A live demonstration of toolpaths for metal cutting was demonstrated at the ACE Macromatic booth on their newly launched VMC series machine. ACE is one of the leading CNC machine suppliers from India, with about 15000 installations all over country. They specialize in turning and milling machines.

Sambit Pradhan, Sunil Palrecha, Rahul Rajadhyaksha, Amin Siddique, Manish Ranjan, and Baburaj Iyer from Geometric manned the booth along with the Indian VARs from CAM Technologies, CAM Galaxy, Design Center, and Logical Solutions.

The event proved to be a success in terms of the response received for the demonstrations as well as the significant quantity of enquiries and leads we received for CAMWorks as well as DFMPro.

Geometric at Westec 2010 Exposition

Geometric participated at WESTEC 2010 Exposition, the West Coast's largest manufacturing and machine tool event, held in Los Angeles, California from 23 to 25 March, 2010.

Hosted by the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME), WESTEC 2010 Exposition focused on the changing world of manufacturing; and gave ideas to help manufacturers not only grow their business, but also evolve to meet market challenges. The event witnessed an attendance of over 500 exhibitors displaying their innovative products to an enthusiastic audience.

Geometric showcased CAMWorks 2010 and demonstrated the benefits and features of the product to the visitors at the booth. Along with Geometric, there were CAMWorks Technicians from the local distributors DDI, GoEngineer, and Cimtronics.

It was an eventful experience, and we were glad with the response we received for CAMWorks. We would like to thank our visitors and audience, who gave us such a wonderful response.
