CAMWorks 2010 Beta Program |

The CAMWorks 2010 Beta version was launched on 29th October 2009. A dedicated section 'Beta Area' was created on the CAMWorks website, and a contest was held for existing users. Participants were required to login in order to access the beta version. After testing and trying the version, participants were urged to report technical issues they encountered and suggest improvements they would like to see in CAMWorks 2010. The contest was based on the issues submitted, and each issue was evaluated on the business impact associated with it. For the first time, we received a record entry of over 80 beta users and more than 200 issues were reported. |

Overall, the CAMWorks 2010 beta program improvements have yielded positive results. We have more than doubled the number of beta participants and compared to previous beta programs, we have generated significant feedback. Although this has increased the time between the start of the beta program and the SP0 release, it has resulted in a more stable product. |
